What happens when I replace my debit card?

I've replaced a broken debit card and was wondering if I have to change any details with people who are due to deposit money into it or will everything go into this card automatically. Just wanted to know so that no issues arise.|||Nothing should change unless you got a new number|||you don't need to inform your employer because the bank account sort code and account number will remain the same you'll just have a brand new debit card with just different numbers on it





so if you have a paypal or something then you'll have to put the new debit card details but that's about it really|||Money is not "deposited" into a debit card - it's deposited into the associated BANK ACCOUNT. Although the debit card number will change, the associated bank account would not.
