Is it possible to block certain companys from charging your debit card?

I want to block a certain company from charging my chase debit card, is there any way that I can do this?|||yes, get to the bank and ask them|||in the uk there is a thing know as a "recurring payment" which can only be cancelled on their end. certain subscriptions such as magazines sometimes operate this way. on the other hand, you may be able to log into your internet banking and just cancel a payment|||maybe if you go in and speak to someone you can block transactions from that store. if ur card was stolen they are required to help you by federal law. or just claim that it was stolen, i doubt that they'll give you a lie dector test
