How old do you have to be to get a debit card in Florida?

I am 14 and would like to have a debit card so that I don't have to worry about cash hanging around all the time. My mom has a Fairwinds account and I looked into doing a joint account with her, but you have to be at least 16. Does anyone know of any banks that will allow kids younger than 16 get a card?|||I got mine when i was 16 too. They will give you one but you have to have atleast $150 to start off and keep atleast $50 in the bank.
