HELP! Can I use my debit card in online orders that ask for a credit card?

I want to order online from Petco and one of the payment options says credit card. However, I only have a Visa debit card connected to a bank account. Can I just use that? Or would that be a problem? Some debit cards don't have a visa, mastercard, discover, or other logo on it like that, and therefore, cannot be used unless specified by the website.
