How long does a refund take to be credit back to a debit card?

I used my debit card to pay for a class this summer at school, but I had to drop it before it began. I get 100% of the refund since I dropped it before the class started, but I was just wondering how long it would take that money to be credited back onto my account?|||Immediately!
