How much can I spend on my Visa Debit card?

It says 拢100 on the shiney hologram thing, but is that 拢100 per transaction, or 拢100 per day, or 拢100 per month?

I'm new to using a debit card.|||The 拢100 hologram indicates that you can use the card to guarantee cheques up to the value of 拢100.

You will be able to withdraw between 拢250 %26amp; 拢300 from the ATM machine in any one day.

You will be able to use the Debit Card facility to purchase goods or services to the value of your account balance.

Example ---- If you have 拢1000.00 in your Bank Account you can go into a Travel Agents and book a holiday costing 拢999.99 and pay using your Card. If the Holiday costs 拢1299.99 you will not be able to pay in full using your card as anything over 拢1000.00 will be declined.|||You can spend up to 拢100 on each transaction. However, you can only spend what is in your account as the bank will stop the card is you go overdrawn.|||The only regulation on a debit card is normally when withdrawing cash from an ATM. Transactions should not matter if you have sufficient funds. The 100 may me a max withdrawl from an ATM at a particular time. A debit card is normally just a check-card that withdraws from your checking account. If you have the funds, spend away!|||Hi - it's normally 100 per day. It resets each day. Hope this helps!|||If your card is not working out for then then you might want to get a Cred Card - which is a pre-pay debit card here:

The card will allow you to spend until your account is empty , this card is NOT a Credit Card so if you aren't prepared to spend your own cash don't spend anything on it.|||I believe that that is the limit for guaranteeing cheques. I have used debit cards for thousand plus pound purchases. If the money is there, a debit card should pay it. If this is an abnormal transaction, or you use it several times in a row for large amounts, you may be referred to security- this happened to me when I was booking a holiday and renting a car on the same day- I was asked a series of security questions before the second purchase was authorised.
