Unless it's MasterCard, VISA, AmEx, etc, then you can't use a debit card online the same as a credit card.
If the website has all its certificates and there are no security threats, it should be safe to use your debit. I know that many sites have Interac as payment so it should be fine. If the site asks for your PIN number at any time, don't give it to them.|||The reason why they warn to not use your debit card online is that it doesn't have the same protection that a credit card does. With a credit card you can dispute the charge, and won't have to pay on it until the dispute is resolved. whereas, when using a debit card (EVEN if you run it as a credit transaction) the money is immediately taken from your bank account and you will be OUT that money while going through the dispute process if something goes awry.|||its totally fine dude|||I use my debit card online ti order stuff all the time its the same process just make sure its a secure site and you should be fine
