How do i check my UK credit report, experian and the others ask for credit/debit card details?

I do not have an account at the moment, hence do not have a credit/debit card.|||You can obtain a statutory report from each of the 3 major UK credit agencies (Equifax, Experian and Callcredit) by filling in the forms on their websites and posting a cheque or postal order for 拢2.|||Experian is the main one in the UK. The report is not free, you normally have to pay about 拢2 to 拢4 for a one off report. They also offer a monthy subscription service where they will send you updates of your current record and who has asked for information on it. This costs a little more and is taken on a monthly basis.

If you have negative footprints on your credit records that don't belong to you, you can contact the credit reference agency for a Certificate of Absolution to provide to Bankers to support your applications for credit facilities.|||Send them a 拢2 postal order. That is all that is needed.
